Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana sexy photo leaked!

Well not quite exactly but with the influx of Photoshop use in the recent years it definitely creates a credibility problem concerning controversial/racy photos.
We should definitely be more cautious and do a little research before we jump the gun on a particular photo we might run across on the net. Case in point? look at Hilary Duff’s infamous transparent pink bag photo revealing a rather personal item of hers.
This photo spread around many blogs very quickly and the majority of the readers believed it to be real.
Only after a huge stir someone managed to find the original picture in which there was actually nothing in her bag, it seemed like the photo was created to somehow assassinate her character.
Here is a quick Photoshop I created of Miley Cyrus imposed onto another body. I’m sure many people can discern whether it is fake or not but lets be frank,
if this photo appeared on another website with the heading along the lines of “Miley Cyrus sexy photos leaked!!!” the majority of the readers would be rather gullible and believe it from the gecko.
Here are 4 simple tips you can use in case you run across a photo in which you are skeptical.
1. Skin color
Sometimes the Photoshopper will be off by 1 or 2 shades of the actual color, zoom in and investigate the area in which the face is connected to the neck, you might notice a huge shift in color.
2. Image Curve
Playing with the Image Curve option can reveal many things on a poorly tampered photo such as over-saturation, over-contrast, airbrush artifacts, and smudges on a photo. You can access this option by going to Image>Adjustments>Curves.
3. Pixel peeping
Pixel peeping is a term used by many photographers to check for the quality of their photographs. Basically you will zoom in very, very close on the image to where you can see actual pixels.
While zooming on the image below it reveals the actual chin of the original subject.
Pixel peeping reveals a brush smudge and a poorly blended hair.
4. Find the original
Finding the original photo will basically give you the win. =)

Wow…Ok, even though I could basically tell it was fake, how did you do the hair?? Even though the skin tone and stuff gives it away, the fact that you were able to make the hair fall down on the shoulders like that makes it look really convincing. You’d make a good living working for a tabloid

English is my native tong but I have studied Spanish and this Marielos cracks me up. He doesn’t understand that this is fake HA HA this was to good to come across. I will translate a small section of what he wrote.

Now that is called revealing experience. Thank god people like you provide insight to differentiate between right and wrong. But let me be frank though people ultimately know what these pranksters are doing still is there a way to know from which photoshop version say cd key etc of the person who did it?
I mean if photoshop has any inbuilt watermark system for identifying these pictures? It would be nice.
But then there is piracy.
