Joe Rogan’s Phenomenal Tattoo

One of my past times on the net is browsing through various pictures of tattoos. I’m typically not a fan of sleeve’s but Joe Rogan’s tattoo is an exception, one of my favorites.
One of the things that particularity fascinates me about tattoos are the meanings that go along with them, for the most part the individual in question probably choose his/her tattoo because it “looks cool” say to speak.
Getting a particular tattoo because it’s cool or it’s what everyone else has is one of the biggest mistake someone can make for their reasons to get a tattoo.
Unlike fashion, music, catch phrases and other fads in general, tattoos are permanent. If you choose a tattoo for the reasons it’s in, what are you going to do when it’s out?
Joe Rogan’s tattoo is a perfect example of a tattoo that has meaning, is original, unique, and perfectly executed.
I’m pretty sure most of his inspiration for his tattoo derived from his spiritual psychedelic trip while on DMT aka The Spirit Molecule.
A sketch of his tattoo, notice he has the molecule of DMT present. During one of his trips he described an entity which looked like a “Thai Buddha” speaking to him, which is also present in his tattoo.
Completion, this is definitely a tattoo I wouldn’t ever regret having if I were him.
